Careers Week Success at Sir Charles Kao UTC!

Students at Sir Charles Kao UTC celebrated Careers and Apprenticeships Week between 6th and 10th March with a variety of activities focused on preparing them for life in modern Britain.

Events included a trip to the House of Commons for a tour by Robert Halfon’s apprentice Owen, employer visits from Pearson and Harlow Group, and workshops on creating CVs, LinkedIn profiles and cover letters.

Principal Mike McKeaveney said:

“At Sir Charles Kao UTC, we specialise in guiding students into their future careers. We’re really pleased students got so much out of careers week and we’re looking forward to our next careers event in April”

The Alltogether careers service are hosting a careers festival at Sir Charles Kao UTC on Tuesday 25th April between 4.00pm and 7.00pm, which is open to members of the public. For more information go to http://bit.ly/CareersFest2017 .
